Sweden-Sri Lanka Business Council members’ meeting in Colombo
The Sweden-Sri Lanka Business Council held its members’ meeting on 16 January in Colombo at our partner Hatch. The meeting was attended by Sweden’s Honorary Consul Sanjay Kulatunga, CEO of Hatch Mevan Peris and Shalaka Wijeyaratne, Executive Director – Investment Promotion and Marketing from Port City. Also visiting from Sweden was Sri Lanka’s Honorary Consul in Western Sweden, Marcus Pettersson.
The Sweden-Sri Lanka Business Council has just over 100 members in Sweden and Sri Lanka and 100 associate members in Sri Lanka. Consul Pettersson described what he, together with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Sweden, with the support of the council, has done during 2024 and the plans for 2025. The other speakers spoke about their activities and the participants expressed their appreciation. The meeting was chaired by the Sweden-Sri Lanka Business Council´s Secretary General Leif I Ohlson
